Melody McAllister is an educator, blogger, and author. She lives in Alaska with her husband and their five children. They recently moved from north Texas, but she is originally from St. Joseph, Mo. She loves the Chiefs and Kansas City Royals. She was named the Garland NAACP Educator of the year in 2017 and advocates for equity in education. She writes about her journey in life as a mother, teacher, author, and human. She finds inspiration from her children, students, life, and faith.
